How do I make changes to my recurring Foodbox order?

Customisation to orders is available on subscriptions, however, we currently have subscriptions paused while we test our new system which allows for better flexibility.

When subscriptions are back,

  1. Log into your Foodbox account and click into your account profile via the icon in the top right corner.
  2. Under the Subscriptions tab, click Subscriptions then Manage Subscription. In this tab you can manage the items that will recur in your Foodox in each future order.
  3. Add items by clicking the “Add” option, then search what you’d like to add or
  4. Remove items by making their quantity “0”, or by clicking remove.

Once saved, your Foodbox delivery contents will be updated for future orders.

Do I have to make changes to my Foodbox?

No. If you're happy with the contents of your Foodbox or of the base Foodbox you have chosen from our Boxes, you don't need to change anything.

Up until when can I make changes to my Foodbox?

When subscriptions are back, any customisations to a Box you're ordering are to be made before 6:30 pm, two nights before your delivery day.

Eg. Your delivery day is Sunday, so finish any customisations to your Box order before 6:30 pm Friday night.

How do I make changes to only my next order?

Customisation to orders is available on subscriptions, however, we currently have subscriptions paused while we test our new system which allows for better flexibility.

When subscriptions are back,

  1. Log into your Foodbox account and click into your account profile via the icon in the top right corner.
  2. Under the Subscriptions tab, click Next Order
  3. Add items by searching for what you’d like to add in the “Add to next order” box to the right
  4. To manage anything else, click on Manage Next Order
  5. Remove items by making their quantity “0”, or by clicking Remove.

Once saved, your next Foodbox delivery contents will be updated for that order only.

Will the price of my Foodbox change?

We change up our Foodboxes every couple of weeks to keep them fresh and to make sure they have new goodies for you to try. The price will be as displayed and if you do not make any changes to the box, the price will stay the same. The price will only change if you add or remove items from your Foodbox. Once you make any changes the price of your Foodbox will adjust.

Please note if you subscribe to the box, the price may fluctuate a few dollars either way from week to week, due to produce price fluctuations, but we do our best to keep it as similar as possible.

Can I customise the items in my one-off purchase after I place the order?

One-off orders are locked in when the order is placed, so they are not customisable. But a reminder you can order right up until 6:30 pm two nights before your selected delivery day, so if you’re not 100% on what you need in your order just make your order closer to that cut-off time.

E.g. if you would like your items to arrive on a Wednesday, you can place orders right up until Monday, 6:30 pm.

Where do you deliver to?

We currently deliver to Auckland and its surrounding areas, like Pukekohe, Waiheke Island and Piha.

However, we will keep adding new areas we deliver to, so enter in your post code to see if we deliver near your home or workplace .

When will I get my delivery?

Deliveries can be made up until 8:00 pm on our delivery days. Due to the way our tracking is set up, we cannot offer an exact delivery time, however, if you’d like a rough timeframe, email us on your delivery day at orders@foodbox.co.nz or call us on 0800 4 FOODBOX (0800 4 3663 269) and we can advise you based on the tracking.

What do you charge for delivery?

Our delivery fees start from $14.00 and includes track and trace and delivery notifications.

How do public holidays affect my delivery?

A public holiday can at times push your delivery date out by one day, and if this is the case you will be notified via our weekly email.

If your delivery was effected, it will go back to normal the following week.

What are your delivery days?

Depending on the delivery area, we deliver on a Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

How does Billing work for my one-off purchase?

When making a one-off purchase your order is confirmed and your payment is taken when you check out.

How does Billing work for my subscription?

We currently have subscriptions paused while we test our new system which allows for better flexibility.

When subscriptions are back, your first payment is taken when you first check out to verify your card and create your new subscription. For your Second order and beyond, your payment is taken at 6:30 pm two nights before your chosen delivery day.
